Instructions
Mix the dry mortar with approximately 17–18% by weight of water (4.25–4.5 litres per bag) and knead until the correct consistency is achieved. If using a continuous mixer, regulate the incoming water flow to achieve a fluid consistency without segregation. It is advisable to use tap water. Water of dubious origin or seawater should always be avoided. The water quality used must remain constant throughout the application. Excessive variations may lead to cracks and shrinkage of the mortar, resulting in a loss of its performance.
The mortar will be pumped or injected into the borehole using a suitable hose or pipe, starting from the bottom to avoid air entrapment. Once the entire borehole is filled, the mortar will be allowed to spill or overflow to discard the top portion.
